day. IFR Forex Watch, Thomson Financial’s
premier institutional Forex news and analysis
service, provides the real time content for this
service. News is
not a delayed or abridged version of Thomson
Financial ’s IFR Forex Watch, but the
complete product suite. News includes the following
features:
Squawk Bow
24-hour scrolling
headlines with all the latest forex news and
commentary. This section is composed of short
paragraph sized blurbs that are updated about
5 to 8 times an hour allowing traders to stay
ahead of the market. This
is the most popular feature of the news service
as its instant, live, and tradable information.
Orders Board
This is a whispers and rumors
section on what big global forex traders (major
hedge funds and fortune 500 companies) are buying
and selling, and where they are placing their
stops, etc.
Tech Levels & Analysis
This includes specific support
and resistance levels for 13 currency pairs
with accompanying commentary. This section contains
multiple layers of support/resistance, Fibonacci
retracement levels, moving averages, and RSI.

Trading Outlook
Trading Outlook offers commentary
on 7 specific currencies (including Yen, Euro,
Swiss Franc, and the British Pound), and their
movements versus other major currencies. If
you are interested in finding out how Yen is
trading against the other major currencies,
and the impact on its movement, this is the
place to go.
Options
This comprehensive options section
includes market commentary, with trading activity,
trading levels, and interests that are driving
the market. The options area also contains a
strategy section, implied as well as historic
volatility levels, and risk reversal pricing.

A comprehensive global calendar
of all economic numbers that are coming out
around the world. It also includes a daily planner
of what number to anticipate, and events to
keep in mind. Traders will find an enormous

element to the FX Trading Station. With one
click of the mouse, clients can access News.
No additional login is necessary. The window
in which FX News appears is adjustable, enabling
the simultaneous viewing of live prices and
real time news. There is no cost to clients
for this service. Trials are available for demo
accounts.

Instructions
The News Plug-In works in conjunction
with the FX Trading Station. If you have not
already done so, you will need to download the
FX Trading Station. Please note that you will
not be able to download the News plug-In while
the FX Trading Station is open. To begin, please
close down the FX Trading Station.

“Save this Program to Disk”
and click “OK" |

Save
the program (FXNewsInstall.EXE) onto your
desktop. |

Once
download is complete click on "Open."

Follow
the installation instructions using the

When
the installation is complete, you can log
back into the FX Trading Station. You will
now have a “News” button on
the Menu Bar of the FX Trading Station.
