In the 2nd part of 2004 he started Phincorp Capital Markets Inc., a financial advisory firm that advises a multitude of qualified hedgers and investors on the global FX markets. Phincorp Capital Markets also specializes in asset management solutions.
Trade methodology/system background
Marius undeniably identifies himself as a market technician. He completely dismisses ideas such as efficient markets hypothesis and is a firm believer in the analysis of market behavior – or technical analysis. Marius is a highly passionate practitioner of the Elliott Wave theory, going behind and beyond financial markets but while most of his work has to do with the Wave Principle, he is keenly aware of other key technical methodologies.
He always pays the due respect to concepts such as basic trend analysis, Dow Theory, statistical indicators like momentum, moving averages and moving average envelopes, volume, open interest, market sentiment and intra-market analysis. He combines them all on a daily basis with his Elliott Waves knowledge to derive short, medium and long-term forecasts on the global currency markets. His robust analytical skill evolved around the experience he acquired during the years he was on the front lines, actively trading FX as a spot or proprietary trader.
